Mahesh Babu Joins Mufasa: The Lion King Telugu Cast

Exciting news for fans of Superstar Mahesh Babu and the iconic animated classic, The Lion King! Following the massive success of The Lion King, the filmmakers have developed a new story that serves as both a prequel and a sequel.

In a thrilling turn of events, Mahesh Babu will lend his voice to the beloved character Mufasa in the Telugu version. His involvement is sure to bring added excitement to the film.

“I’ve always admired Disney’s legacy of entertainment and timeless storytelling. The character of Mufasa resonates with me not only as a loving father guiding his son but also as the mighty king of the jungle who protects his clan,” Mahesh Babu shared, expressing his delight in collaborating with Disney Star.

Directed by Barry Jenkins, the film will also feature Brahmanandam and Ali as the voices of Pumbaa and Timon, respectively. Mufasa: The Lion King is set to release worldwide on December 20th in multiple languages, including Telugu.
