Prabhas, whose full name is Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju, was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari and is the nephew of the legendary Telugu actor Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas has one brother, Prabodh, and a sister, Pragathi. Known for his friendly nature, Prabhas shares close bonds with fellow actors like Gopichand, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, and Manchu Manoj Kumar.
He made his debut in the Telugu film industry with the movie Eeswar.
